Samson Mow, CEO of JAN3 and a big Bitcoin advocate has come up with six ideas for former President Donald Trump to think about before his speech at the Nashville Bitcoin Conference on Jan 27.
Mow’s proposals, shared on the X social platform, aim to make Bitcoin a key part of the US economy and financial strategy. His first idea suggests converting US debt to satoshis as a new way to manage the national debt.
The crypto pioneer suggested a second idea for transforming Bitcoin mining: developing a lunar BTC mining facility. This would involve setting up Bitcoin mining operations on the moon to use lunar natural resources and take advantage of reduced gravity. According to Mow, these benefits would lower operational costs and improve mining efficiency.
Mow’s third idea was to get rid of the Federal Reserve. Abolishing the U.S. central banking system would significantly change the country’s monetary policies, with Bitcoin at the centre. His fourth idea was to eliminate the tax on Bitcoin transactions and holdings. This would encourage more people to use digital assets, especially investors and traders.
Inflation reparations using Bitcoin
In his fourth idea, Mow suggests using Bitcoin for inflation reparations. This would involve compensating citizens for the loss of purchasing power caused by inflation. Since Bitcoin has a limited supply and is often seen as a hedge against inflation, it could provide a more stable and reliable form of compensation.
Mow also suggests making Bitcoin untaxable. By removing taxes on Bitcoin transactions and holdings, the government could encourage more people to use and integrate Bitcoin into the mainstream economy.
His last idea is to create a strategic Bitcoin reserve. This is similar to what Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. promised: to order the US Justice Department and US Marshals to transfer the 204,000 Bitcoin held by the US to the Federal Reserve as a “strategic asset.”
